Automatic desktop shortcuts

Simply put, I hate when apps automatically add a desktop shortcut when they update or install. I don’t like them, I don’t want them, when given the option, which I should ALWAYS be given an option, I choose no. During install I always choose no shortcut. But then your app does an automatic update, restarts automatically, and then automatically makes a shortcut. I don’t like ANY of that. Apps should NOT do that much without user input. Maybe remember the setting from install. Maybe just make it a toggle in the settings. Or just ASK with a prompt. Like a good application.
