Just came here to make the same request.
Love the MAP-Feature, probably the #1 thing I use Wand for. (Apart from making my gaming experience a bit more enjoyable as someone who doesn’t have the time to grind for hours on end in some games)
The MAP-Feature in my opinion is very well done, the literal only thing I am missing is this. The ability to choose between profiles and save my progress in multiple profiles, instances, playthroughs or however one might want to call it.
Where would this be useful?
Imagine you have a long going Singleplayer playthrough and suddenly a friend asks you to play another one with them. Specific game in question for me: Baldur’s Gate 3.
I only have one map instance I can save, so I have to choose.
Do I save the progress from my Singleplayer run?
Or do I save the progress from the Multiplayer run I play with my friends?
Had something similar happen on multiple occasions, so having the ability to switch between map profiles for a specific game would be incredible. Add the ability to name the profiles to my liking and it would be perfect.
Where could one put that addition?
Some suggestions from little old me.
Right between “DISCOVERY PROGRESS” and “CHOOSE MAP”
At the bottom, where “Reset found pins” is located.
Menu to the bottom right where “Custom Pins”, “Zoom“ and the “Layer”? or “Map Orientation”? buttons are.
